Jakarta, mataberita.net — Born into a simple village family, with parents who were only traders, Dr. Drs. Nyoto Suwignyo, M.M., has achieved success in his career and education. He is the sixth of seven children living in the warm and cool embrace of Ngunut Village, Tulungagung.
East Java bears witness to his journey toward the future. Starting his education at Pacitan I Elementary School, his smile was full of meaning as he welcomed the big dreams he held within his grasp. His enthusiasm continued to burn brightly, as he continued on to Ngunut Junior High School and finally welcomed the meaningful Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta State Senior High School 4 witnessed his readiness to embrace promising hopes. Gadjah Mada University also became the right choice for success.
Definite steps continued to follow. The Manado Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) witnessed the early stages of his career. Becoming a Section Head and Sub-Division Head was a new experience. Moving on to the Ministry of Home Affairs, he gained confidence in developing his skills. He experienced being a Sub-Section Head, Section Head, Section Head, Sub-Directorate Head, and even the top leadership position at the Directorate General of Regional Development, Ministry of Home Affairs.
He then served as Deputy for Food and Nutritional Insecurity at the National Food Agency. He was even entrusted with the position of Deputy for Promotion and Cooperation at the National Nutrition Agency (Deputi Bidang Promosi dan Kerja Sama Badan Gizi Nasional/Prokerma BGN) from 2024 until his retirement in 2025. Afterward, he continued to pursue a career as an Expert Staff for Financial Planning at the Head of the National Nutrition Agency.
It’s not just a mere dream, achieving success is full of struggle. In 2022, he was so enthusiastic about receiving his 182nd Doctorate in Government Science with a Very Satisfying predicate. Furthermore, he has a myriad of achievements.
Dissertation of Dr. Drs. Nyoto Suwignyo, MM. entitled “Collaborative Governance of Vocational High School Education Planning in the Framework of Meeting the Needs of the Business World and the Industrial World (DUDI) in Banten Province”. Inspired by the Implementation of development in Indonesia is directed to achieve the ideals of the Indonesian State to become a sovereign, advanced, just and prosperous country.
One of the efforts to realize this is through the implementation of education which is the responsibility of the Central Government and the Provincial/District/City Government, where the Provincial Government is authorized to organize General High School and Vocational High School Education.
Among them are the Orientation Week for Improving the Capacity of Regional Planning Apparatus in 1991, Satya Lancana Karya Satya X in 2004, Satya Lancana Karya Satya XX in 2015, and Satya Lancana Karya Satya XXX in 2021.
Despite his numerous achievements, he didn’t rest on his laurels. He continued to develop himself. He also attended training programs, including Orientation Week, Technical Training, Information Systems Training, Strategic Training, Accountability Training, Procurement Expert Training, Training on the Job Training (TOT), Strategic Management Training, and Leadership Training. That’s just a snippet of his story, full of exemplary examples. Hopefully, it will be an inspiring experience for many.
